"Are you ready?" Johannes called from the other room. He made me close my eyes, opened the bathroom door, and counted to three....

I opened my eyes, and tears started trickling down my cheeks.

The scene before me was absolutely amazing. He had turned off all the lights and the entire room was lit by the glow of candlelight. I looked down at my feet and saw a path of red roses leading from the bathroom all the way to the other end of the room.

He led me to a white sofa strewn with red roses and sat me down....

In front of me was a table lined with a wreath of roses, candles, and a bottle of wine.
